The Washinton Park has been recreated over the last two years from a drab unattractive park to an awesome full rectangular city block of glorious resurrection. There are fountains, reasonable underground parking, stages for live entertainment, and the ability to change as the needs present themselves. Last year part of the street became a sand surface for a soccer tournament. There have been performances by the Cincinnsti Opera, the Symphony, the Ballet, and the Pops all on the same night and attended by 5000 or more folks who were not crowded and had a beautiful summer evening looking at the entrance of Cincinnati's majestic Music Hall.Cincinnati is on the move!

We visited Cincinnati on an unseasonably warm, early November day and stumbled upon this gorgeous park. The sun was shining, the leaves were turning colors, and all the locals were out, enjoying the beautiful day! The park's design is very inviting not only for children but for families, couples, and really everyone. Lots of benches, pathways to walk on, and there's even a small park for dogs. The bathrooms were very well maintained and there's a parking garage underneath the park that was very secure; it was only $5 for the entire day. It was relaxing to just sit under the huge oak trees and watch the leaves fall while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The perfect backdrop for the park is the spectacular Cincinnati Music Hall and with all the uniquely painted buildings surrounding the area, you really feel like you are in a special place. Start your day exploring Cincinnati by parking here. Everything else is just a short walk away.

We stumbled upon this park on our way to Music Hall for the Symphony, they were having a little festival in the park, and the park was decorated in lights, it was a great stop on our way and kill a little bit of time before heading to our show!

What a great location, right across the street from Music Hall. New underground parking, lots of festivals and activities. Old scary park now open and inviting. Come on down!
