This ferry has been running for well over 100 years. A great little sightseeing adventure on a day you have a few minutes extra to get off the interstate. While you may get funny looks, you can get out of your car and take pictures of the river & friends with you.

I have been riding this ferry for the past 20 years and I find it convenient, fun if not thrilling, and affordable.

Going between Ohio to Kentucky couldn't be easier. The staff was friendly and shared facts about Augusta, KY. If your local and looking for a day trip I'd reccomend using the ferry to take in the best of both states.

If you have never had a ferry ride, you need to do this. It is a short cut from the west side to the airport. They use these ferries in movies and for daily traffic. A great Sunday afternoon outing and you will see a lot of river traffic up close. A blast out of the past!

Since we are westsiders, Anderson Ferry is convenient and an alternate way of going to Kentucky from Cincinnati. It is also much closer to use the Ferry when going to the Northern Kentucky-Greater Cincinnati International Airport,(CVG). Whenever we have out of town guests, we take them on the ferry if they have never been on one. When our kids were little they loved to ride the ferry. It is also a great time saver when the express ways are congested. They have several boats in the fleet so at busier times two may be running so the wait time is not bad.
