Description: Handcrafted for Five Generations Since 1870. Louis and Regina Graeter started handcrafting Graeter's Ice Cream in 1870. Today, generations later, we proudly remain a family owned and operated company. This is made possible thanks to you, our legion of loyal fans. For a century and a half, Graeter's has remained steadfast in our commitment to making ice cream not the easy way, but rather, the only way it should be: by hand, with real cream, sugar and eggs, in 2 gallon French Pots one batch at a time.

“The reviews below aren't kidding!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2014

Upon reading the reviews below, we figured we had to check out this place. My wife and I shared a banana split with black raspberry chip and coconut ice creams topped with homemade sauces of marshmallow and caramel sauces and homemade whipped cream with nuts.

And while I could find nothing wrong with any of the sauces, it was clear to both my wife and to me that ANYTHING you would put on the black raspberry ice cream could only make it less delicious not more. Seriously, this was the best ice cream either of us have ever had.

We had to come back again before we left town and EACH got just a serving of black raspberry chip ice cream, having learned our lesson, and it was even better than the first time.

Go. Now. And get nothing else.

“It's just ice cream”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2014

I didn't understand the hype. It's good ice cream but not 5 stars. Along the lines of Ben and Jerry's and other premium brands. The location at fountain plaza is open late until 11 pm. I had a scoop of buckeye something and it was good but nothing special that I would go back for however, it was a nice treat.

“Delectable!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2014

There are so many good ice cream options, and they have a bakery as well with free samples (at least in the afternoon). We were only in Cincinnati for 24 hours, but we went to Graeters after both dinner and lunch. We had the banana chocolate chip, the peach, and the Buckeye Blitz as the mini-scoops one time, and the other time we had passion fruit guava sorbet. It would be best done as an afternoon snack instead of after a meal, but if you aren't there long enough to do that, this is a definite stop however you can get it in!

“Black raspberry chocolate chip is the best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2014

Best ice cream ever !!! Not just chocolate chips - chocolate hunks - loved it. the one in Erlanger has a nice ice cream fountain feel to it with wrought iron tables and chairs - great place to take the family.
