Best hamburgers in Cincinnati. Hands down. Mason and Norwood locations are both great!
Quatman's is a long time Cincinnati tradition with Norwood being the original location. The Mason, OH, restaurant is much newer but still has the same great burger. This is a basic burger with cheese and pickles plus a nice large portion of skinny french fries. There is nothing fancy about Quatman's but you can get a sandwich and beer for a very modest price. Sandwiches are served on a paper plate to keep costs down so don't expect Quatman's to be a fancy burger joint. In fact, the burger special includes your drink, even if you want a glass of draft beer. Good food, friendly staff, family oriented, reasonable prices...a winning combination.
good basic burger in a cozy neighborhood dive. no frills.
Nothing fancy, nothing but a simply dressed (cheese and a slab of onion-if you wish) fat, juicy, perfectly cooked burger and a heaping pile of crispy potato chips (fries, shoe string, crispy and freshly made if you get the special) served on a plain white paper plate with a few pickles and a napkin stuffed next to the burger. Ask for more napkins, you'll need them. Your choice of canned sodas with the special. Where else can you step back in time get a great meal for under $6? Sitting at red checkered table cloth covered table I look around at the bar and laugh as the honor system still in full effect here. Lots of regulars pack in at lunch so get there early or late afternoon. Great chili, mock turtle soup and variety of other sandwiches like hot ham n cheese and great fried fish on Fridays. Original location in Oakley on Montgomery Rd. is best although new place in Mason nice with outdoor seating area. So worth a try!
