We stopped here after hearing about it on an Npr episode. This is such a throw back in time. What a treat, an old fashioned type fountain ice cream shop. They bring you menus and have waitstaff. I had a French vanilla hot fudge sundae which was amazing. The ice cream tastes truly homemade. Everything is served in silver bowls. My husband had banana ice cream. He claimed it was the best he'd ever had. The manager overheard him initially order peach ice cream but they didn't have any more. After we'd been served, she brought over a small bowl of the peach ice cream that she had scrapped out of the bottom of the container for him. It was a really nice gesture on her part She spent a few minutes talking with us and had the nicest things to say about the owners of this small business. It's remained in the family forever.
