Owner description: We are home to a visual history of American Signage from 1870 through 1970. Hand carved wooden signs, gold leaf, electric light bulbs, and neon all grace our walls and tell amazing stories, especially when told by our founder and avid collector Tod. Take a trip down memory lane and visit us in the Camp Washington neighborhood of Cincinnati!

Stopped by not knowing what to expect. Arrived just in time for the tour. Highly recommended. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his subject. He fielded all questions well and was patient with the kids. There was plenty to see from well-known signs to obscure but interesting ones. Will entertain both those that enjoy history and pop culture. If you have an hour or two to spare when in or going through Cincinnati, it`s worth a look.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to write a review of your visit to the American Sign Museum. Unfortunately when you visited in Jan 2014 we had not yet had the resources to have more gift shop options. We now have what I think are very fun t-shirts, coffee mugs and baseball hats. All with new logos that represent each period of signage!
If you send me your mailing address and maybe t-shirt sizes I would be happy to send you a few gifts.

Thanks Brad

If you are a design enthusiast or love vintage advertising signs, lights etc.. you will love this small museum. You can rent out the space for wedding etc.. and that would be just plain cool. Very interesting to see the evolution of advertising signage from pierced metal, multiple light bulbs to neon. Loved the vintage motel signs and we took some great photos. One miss was the small gift shop area, we wanted to buy something to commemorate our visit but the graphics chosen for their souvenirs weren't appealing, too bad, we were willing to spend more $.

This was an interesting visit that the kids (10 and 12) both enjoyed. The lights and colours are fantastic, and it draws you in. The tours are at 10 and 2 and I recommend those to get the full value. There is a working neon sign workshop in the place which appears at the end of the tour.
Worth a visit and was surprised to find both kids (under 13) were free. Parking was free and plentiful.
