“Nice Walk”
Reviewed May 7, 2014 via mobile

We deiced to walk this bridge because of it's history and looks. It was built in 1865 and you could just imagine all the history that bridge has seen. It was the longest suspension bridge before the Brooklyn Bridge. The pedestrian walk is nicely paved for walkers, joggers and bikes. You are not right next to cars so no need for worries.

“Highlight of Cincinnati”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

I've visited Cincinnati for business and I knew that it is not touristy destination at all... which made me stay around riverfront area enjoying not only the view of downtown with those two humongous stadiums, especially during rather dramatic sunset, but the actual walk through the bridge over the river a couple of times with those cars "buzzing" you by...

“Pre-cursor to the Brooklyn Bridge”
Reviewed April 18, 2014

By about 20 years. Smaller, but similar. If you stay in Covington, you can walk across this lovely bridge to the ball park to see a Reds game!

“Sister Bridge to Roeblings Brooklyn Bridge”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Built immediately following the architects " Brooklyn Bridge ". Fine example of post Civil War architecture. Also known as the singing bridge...just take a drive across it and see why it is named that.

“Historic Bridge”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

"The Singing Bridge." This was a prototype for the Brooklyn Bridge. One of the remaining historical constructions in Cincinnati that hasn't given way to Progress! Be sure to see it and drive it!
