A very picturesque bridge for those with an interest in such things and architecture. I drove across to the Kentucky side from Cincinnati to photograph the city panorama. There’s a reasonable sized parking area at the base of the bridge. Have a look round Covington whilst you’re there.

It's neat to think that you are like on a little Brooklyn Bridge, lots like it and designed by same architect. I really enjoyed driving along the bridge, I actually went on a couple times. Take this bridge if you're going from Cincinnati to Covington

This is a very beautiful bridge. When I went there, it was chilly cold, so I wasn't able to cross it by foot. It's between Reds Baseball field and Bangel football field, so, besides visiting the bridge, you can walk around and get to know those fields too.
The place on the Ohio side, where the bridge starts, is very beatiful and Worth visiting. On the Kentucky side, there are a lot of restaurants along Ohio river and the Newport Aquarium, which I didn't visit.
If you're in Cincinnati and want to go to the bridge, the easiest way is to look for the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on your GPS. It'll get you there.

Walking across from Cincinnati to Kentucky on a crisp Autumn afternoon was an awesome way to spend a Saturday, and the beautiful bridges across the Ohio River made the whole scene so picturesque.
This bridge is really pretty. It is pretty much the same design as the Brooklyn Bridge (same architect), and built a few years earlier - you could call it the prototype.
Lovely views to cincinnati & to covington / newport.
Follow the signs for the Riverwalk along the banks of the river, over to Newport (Kentucky), then back to Cincinnati by crossing the Purple People Bridge.
Stop at Newport on the Levee for Tom+Chee before you cross back (if you want an American twist on toasted cheese sandwiches aka grilled cheese in dozens of flavours!).

We recently visited Cincinatti and walked across this bridge to have breakfast in Kentucky! Beautiful bridge, very much like the Brooklyn Bridge, with very nice views of the city. Covington was a cute little enclave of shops and cafes. Had breakfast at a great spot at the foot of the bridge..bought a book at the Roebling Book store..it was a nice way to spend the morning before our flight home to NY.
