“River view”

Nice bridge for a leisurely walk across the river. If you can not climb stairs up or down easily stay on the west side of the bridge.

“A Walk Across History”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

What a beautiful bridge with such rich history. It is the predecessor to the Brooklyn Bridge - that is why they look so much alike. It's really amazing to see the workmanship.

We walked to Kentucky on the west side and then went down the stairs below the bridge. There is a long wall of murals depicting the history of the importance of the bridge to Cincinnati area, which are fabulous - don't miss that! We then walked back on the east side, giving us a different view.

The history surrounding this bridge is really neat - read up a little and then enjoy the walk.

“Cool Bridge”

A big feature of Cincinnati and worth the walk. Not much more to report than that though so I'm trying to use up my one hundred characters.

“Good!”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

The Roebling Suspension Bridge is probably the most recognizable symbol of Cincinnati! Walk on it is thrilling(It was built in the mid-19th!). The bridge was also built by the same architect of the Brooklyn bridge.

“A Cincy Must”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

The precursor to the Brooklyn Bridge, this is a Midwest wonder. Walk across, drive across, take in Cincy from the Kentucky side and enjoy the view of the baseball stadium and downtown. It's an amazing piece of architecture and American history.
