There is always something going on down there. I used to enjoy it until the panhandlers became a nuisance. I had my hand bag snatched there once. That was exciting.

When we visited, it was during Octoberfest, and the Reds just won the pennant, so the place was going nuts.

All kinds of people to watch and chat with. Great place for out of town guests. Big TV screen is such a bonus!

Fountain Square is not only home to a beautiful and interesting fountain, but is the place in town where there are constantly events surrounding it. From the Taste of Cincinnati to the concerts and charity walks, there is always something going on here.

The square is clean, has a beautiful fountain in the middle (see photo), surrounded by tall office buildings. There are 2 restaurants attached to the square, the one over the public washroom is an Italian. There are also some upscale restaurants across the streets, pretty expensive. Rock concerts are held in the summer at night. Underground parking is pretty reasonable (around $3) after office hour. There are police on guard.
