Rock Bottom is always a treat with excellent appetizers and craft beer. Sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the Square.
Next door is Cincy's...Huge and, once again, grab a table outside. We watched a Reds game while we were there.

If there is something going on this may be great but a fair number of homeless panhandlers wander the sqaure. The fountain is a great spot for a photo.

The fountain is really a big landmark, and one can sit on the square and watch games/tailgate, or eat some graeters ice cream after having some McCormick & Schmicks that's just across the street. Fun place.

We parked in the Fountain Square garage and rode the elevator up to Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. The Square was our first impression of the celebration, and the enormous fountain is quite impressive. A huge stage was set up in the Square along with a dance floor. People milled about and danced while the on-stage band played German music. Vendors were set up near the fountain, and chairs were available near the stage. My only complaint of the whole situation is that Bengal fans absconded with the chairs set up in front of the stage and took them out to the side the stage to watch the football game. I was wondering why they didn't stay home to watch the game and leave the chairs to folks like my husband who cannot walk or stand for long periods of time without hip pain. We ended up sitting on the wet bench by the fountain and being showered with spray. The Square is a very pretty place in a very busy city.

Absolutely wonderful sculpture and fountain nestled in the middle of wonderful big city stores, restaurants and hotels. Nice place to hang out with a burrito from Chipotle, on the square's edge, or have a beer on the patio of Rock Bottom Brewery.
