The Great American Ball Park is truly a splender of the American Mid West. Having just got back from a trip there - Found the experience incredible. The atmosphere and the Sightlines were all first rate.

Absolutely top drawer.

www.redsbaseballtickets.com - this is where i found my tickets.

“Nothing more American than catching ball game”
Reviewed July 19, 2008

Full disclosure-I'm a life long Reds fan.

It's a wonderful ballpark. As a life long Reds fan I was thrilled to finally be able see a game in the new ballpark. It is laid out well with some activities for the kids before the game.

All seats seem to have a good view. We were in section 419 which is about the same level as the tv and radio announcers (hey, there's Marty!).

For the essential Cincy experience eat at Sklyine Chili or Montgomery Inn BBQ.

There are some discounts online at the Reds website. We opted for the 4 tickets plus 4 drinks and 4 dogs at a discounted rate. That worked well with a 7 year old and a 5 year old.

As parks go it's not quite as nice as the new retro parks in Baltimore, Cleveland, or Detroit. There's a riverboat theme here and they should make that more prevalent (like Tigers all over the place in Detroit).

Arrive a couple hours early and check out the Reds Hall of Fame. They don't have game day discounts any more, but they do have military/veterans discounts.

Stay at the hotels downtown around Fountain Square or on the Kentucky side.

All in all a great experince

“Great Games at GABP”
Reviewed July 5, 2008

This stadium is a wonderful place to watch a game. I recently took both my sons and they had a great time. One got an autograph and both got foul balls during batting practice.

If you go, be sure to get the ticket for the Reds Hall of Fame, located just outside the front gate. It's worth the admission price and the tickets are good through the end of the year. My boys absolutely loved the place.

The people were very friendly and helpful, including the vendors. We stayed at the Westin Hotel which is located on Fountain Square and is only a 10 minute walk from to and from the park.

We sat in a different section (130 and 423) each night and both were great for different reasons. 130 is closer to the action and foul balls. 423 offered a great view right above home plate and gave a great view of the river and the smokestacks in Center Field for Red's home runs.

“It truly is the Great American Ball Park”
Reviewed June 17, 2008

Great place to see a game. Make sure you check out the reasonable and tasty food at the Machine Room. Enjoy the ambiance as you look out towards the Ohio River and watch the Riverboats. Several choices for food and beverages and even ice cream made to order!

“worth the visit if you are a baseball fan.”

This is a very nice small ball park. Get some left field seats and arrive early you will get a ball during batting practice. Lot of food options try the Larosas Hoagie on the 3rd base line.
