Description: Taste of Belgium serves Belgian food with a twist. If it's not Belgian, we "Belgianize" it. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and one-of-a-kind weekend brunch. We have a full bar and a wide selection of Belgian beers on draft (24) and in bottle. And we serve the absolute best waffles.

5 stars across the board. This is such a cool place with a unique menu. The atmosphere was fantastic and our server was top notch. I highly recommend the sweet crepes for dessert !

I have eaten waffles and chicken from many restaurants, this was just ok. The chicken was a skinless breast so not as juicy and the waffle was very sweet, glad I ordered syrup on the side. The beer cheese is very thick and did not have a great beer taste. The meatballs were very sweet. The chocolate orange crepe was also not the best. It was not extremely busy and the service was not the best, can only imagine what it would be like if it was crazy busy.

We have a family tradition of eating breakfast out on Fridays. Typically very basic, McD, Starbucks, donut shop, etc., Today the boys wanted to head into the city to the 'Waffle Shop' so thats what we did.

If you have ever had one of ToB's waffles from Findlay Market you know them to be wonderful. They are dense, rich and delicious and at the restaurant its more than just a plain waffle. Boys had one with chocolate and cream and one with strawberries and cream, they shared bacon and goeta (if not from Cincy, this is part sausage part oats, all Cincinnati) and I had the highly recommend Chicken & Waffle which is a chicken breast prepared buffalo style placed on top of a waffle that already has syrup. The food is absolutely outstanding, service can be a bit slow if your looking to just eat and run to a meeting, but its breakfast and we were at leisurely pace so it was great for us. The Chicken & Waffle is perfect for breakfast, but would be just as good for lunch or late after a night of fun. We sat outside which was loud and busy...you know its a city street, and we loved it, as the kids wanted a bit of the city experience. Inside is simple but wonderful and the aroma when you walk in makes it hard to want to sit outside.

We will definitely be back, its a great spot for a slightly different breakfast and way to start your day.

We wondered in to taste of Belgium after finding ourselves in over an hour wait at a different restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very beautifully decorated restaurant. We were greeted and seated quickly. They served their alcohol in a very beautiful copper cup (though you had to hand in your ID to get the cup). The food was really good (we had the beer cheese appetizer).

We also had the machine gun sandwich and the chicken and waffle. Of the two - the chicken and waffle was better.

Overall I would return to this restaurant. Price was it was also great (good price for the value).

The restaurant is somewhat smaller so if you're going for lunch, get there by 11:30 to be sure you get a table. we had a party of 5 co-workers so we had to sit at the "bar" that was facing the open kitchen which was kind of interesting. Parking is very limited with street meters and maybe one pay parking lot nearby (which was full when we arrived just before noon). The food seemed to be reasonably priced with the exception of the waffles. everyone tried something different and was overall pleased. From chicken & waffles, to southwest waffle chicken sandwich, to "nati" (goetta filled crepe) to chicken sandwich with frites. I'm not a big crepe fan so I wasn't terribly impressed with the "nati" but if you like crepes it may be just for you. the side of smashed potatoes for $5 was overpriced and ruined with corn mixed in :(. The service was very prompt and friendly staff.
