Description: Taste of Belgium serves Belgian food with a twist. If it's not Belgian, we "Belgianize" it. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and one-of-a-kind weekend brunch. We have a full bar and a wide selection of Belgian beers on draft (24) and in bottle. And we serve the absolute best waffles.

I'm really glad we had brunch there on a Friday, because people were lined up out the door on both Saturday and Sunday. We stayed at the Cincinnatian right down the street and walked over. We were seated right away and the service was great. I was in desperate need of some coffee and our waitress was very quick to take care of us. My son loves this place and pressured us into the chicken and waffles. We don't typically eat fried foods, but I have to say the combo on chicken, waffle, maple syrup and hot sauce was really tasty.

All in all ok. The waffles are not even close to the quality you get in Brussels or other cities in Belgium. They are ok, a lot better than in most of the other American restaurants. The restaurant is quite nice but nothing special. Go there if you want to enjoy solid waffles but do not except any miracles.

We heard Guy Fieri and DDD had visited this place the week before and also had a recommendation from family in Cincy. We were excited to visit for breakfast on our last day in Cincinnati.

Disappointed only begins to describe the experience.

Coffee was awful.

AC dripped on my back throu out the meal.

Had the McWaffles. Without exception or exaggeration, the worst waffles I have ever tasted. Worse than home made without a recipe. Worse than store-bought frozen waffles in the toaster. But the kicker, worse than the waffles I was served on Delta just before landing in LA from Sydney.

Hard, sugarised waffles. Could barely cut them with a knife. If that is the taste and texture you're looking for then we can only conclude that our concept of waffles is vastly different.

Two measly pieces of limp bacon. A slice of gruyere cheese. An egg over easy. And two of those disgusting waffle halves as a sandwich. That's your Mc Waffle. You can keep it, thanks. I wish we had gone the whole McRoute and eaten at McDonalds.

We were a party of five seated quickly on an early Saturday afternoon. The vibe of the place is noisy urban chic. Three of us ordered the chicken and waffles. Two of the plates were excellent, the third the chicken was burned almost beyond recognition. Our server was quick to replace the dish and the second time they got it right. The chicken is coated with seasonings before fried. The waffle is dense and savory so don't be surprised that it is not your standard Belgium waffle. The meal is then doused with both maple syrup and hot sauce. It works! One of our group ordered the salmon sandwich, the other a cheese omelette. Both pronounced them tasty. We shared a lemon curd crepe for dessert. That was average. The chicken and waffles were the star of the meal.

The chicken and waffles are unbelievable with a side salad. Ask for extra syrup also. You may want to ask ft extra dressing on the side. You can also buy waffles to take home.
