From well crafted cocktails to plentiful entrées, to amazing desserts, La Poste delivers an excellent dining experience. A wide selection of wines and interesting beers are also offered. We enjoyed the relaxed, yet very professional attitude that our server, Jeremy provided for our anniversary celebration party of 8.

I am sorry to hear that others didn't have the experience we did. Our dinner was perfect from the beginning to the end. The food was wonderful. The highlight for me was the pear salad--warm pear, wrapped in prosciutto with warm goat cheese inside. Wow! Another highlight was the mushroom ravioli. Both my entree and my husband's were outstanding as well. I love the setting--the wall of windows, the hardwood floors. The service was perfect--not smothering, but very helpful in recommendations and selection. Oh, I forgot the most decadent bread pudding ever! Delicious. I would put this place on par with Boca in terms of the quality and creativity with food. The prices, however are significantly lower.

Had a similar experience to the previous review. We had a party of 13 and were forced into an over-priced prix fixe menu for $28/person with only three entree choices (risotto entree was ridiculously small!) We had a server who was not particularily friendly and could not handle the size of our party! Had to ask for bread and was overwhelmed when 5 or 6 people ordered coffee with dessert. Food overall was excellent - too bad the service did not match! Here was an opportunity for a new restaurant to make a positive impression on 13 new customers at which it sorely failed!

Had dinner here with friends this month. This restaurant opened in October, 2010. The prices, decor, and quality of some dishes were decidely upscale. A gratis appetizer, described as baba ganoush, was mushy and tasteless. The crab cake, however, was fresh, dense with crabmeat and flavorful. Mussels were fresh and prepared in a wonderful liqueur. Mushroom ravioli were tasty but skimpy. The burger was nothing special despite the price. Deserts were quite good. The service was like someone's mistaken notion of a formal French "experience". Wait staff were stiff and unsmiling. Our waiter was rude and pretentious (think "Cafe Boeuf"). He was more "young snot" than French professional.
