“Some good and bad”

Duke Energy Convention Center
Ranked #44 of 189 things to do in Cincinnati

This place is located in an easy to reach area. The Millenium Hotel has an enclosed walkway to the Convention center. Other hotels are a very short walk. The Convention center is clean and appears relatively new inside. The downside to this place is horrible cell service inside. Good luck trying to look at your email, even sending a text! I have Verizon and I was told a tower was less than 1/2 mile away. Others with different service providers had similar issues. I found the amount of restrooms for a convention center to be a bit inadequate.

Attended a convention here in August. This is a LARGE place as convention centers go (at least, of the ones that I have gone to). Three floors of meeting rooms. The staff was barely seen when not needed; and easy to find when they were needed. This is good.

One concern is that the wi-fi connections seemed to be sporadic. In addition, the Convention did not give us the password to log into the wi-fi for the days we were there. We had to find out by word of mouth.

The meeting rooms were adequate, but sometimes the doors would close too loudly and disturb the speakers.

A little more signage could be helpful. I got lost a couple of times. There was layout maps of the floors in several places, but a few more could be useful.

What more is there to say. They charge way to much for internet and cell coverage inside is almost nonexistent. Was here for a conference and that made working difficult.

This place was big. It was very clean. The food however was CRAZY expensive. I mean crazy!!! That was the part about it that sucked the most. Otherwise it's a nice place to have a convention.

Didn't care for the parking circus. There are plenty of places to park...just depends on what you want to pay. It is reasonable. I paid between $7.00 to $10.00 for all day. Leave early from the hotel and get downtown before the morning rush. It should be ok then.
