“Great Venue; Security is ridiculous”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

First visit to Riverbend and I was pretty impressed with the place. Much bigger than The LC in Cbus. I would give this a 4 star easy if it weren't for all the kids on bikes coming up to you every 5 min in the parking lot asking what are you doing. When are you going in. Literally when we parked they were circling around us. Apparently you can't drink in the parking lot. It's funny cause there were actual cops in golf carts and they didn't say anything to us. But be prepared to get harrassed by kids in blue patrol shirts as soon as you get there and park. Went and seen 311 and Cypress Hill. 311 killed it and sounded great. Cypress Hill was ok. They did get the crowd hyped for 311. Those dudes still smoke a lot. Haha. We waited until day of concert to get tix and we saved over $20 by not going thru ticketmaster and their convenience and service fees. Couldn't believe we got seats right dead center in sec 500. Acoustics were awesome. Wouldn't buy lawn ever here though. Can't see anything and I'm 6'4.

“Wheelchair seating = obstructed view”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

Overall, this is a decent amphitheater, but the wheelchair seating is at the rear of each section. Guess what happens at concerts? People stand up. This is 100% predictable, and yet Riverbend fails to make any attempt to place their wheelchair seating somewhere which takes this fact into account.

In effect, Riverbend sells obstructed view tickets to all wheelchair users.

“Couldn't believe the quality of the acoustical experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

For an outdoor concert hall the musical experience was unmatched. You could hear the softest notes as well as the enjoy the full compliment of the entire orchestra. On a rainy July 4th evening, we were completely protected from the rain. Those on the lawn enjoyed despite the drizzle. It is an excellent facility and we'll return!!!

“Fine to dine”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

It was fine for dining or aquarium, but not much shopping. Parking is hard to get to and be sure to have your parking
Validated before you get to the garage.
