Owner description: This second oldest zoo in the U.S., considered one of the best in the country, is most renowned for its endangered species and birthing programs, particularly for gorillas and white tigers, and has a wonderful collection of felines and a delightful manatees exhibit.

Yes, we made a mistake going on $1 day so it was crowed, but the crowds wasn't the bad part. The zoo was boring. Most of the animals weren't on display and the ones that were were so far away you could barely see them. Very difficult to navigate and everything was so expensive. Parking filled up fast so we had to end up parking about 8 blocks away in a very sketchy part of town. I wouldn't go back if you paid me.

We are members of the Zoo. There have been many renovations recently making the Zoo even better than before. My girls love strolling through the exhibits. The Giraffes are a current favorite, but they love the big cats as well. We are here at least every other month. The pass is a great value and supports the Zoo and everything they do to preserve animals that are declining in the wild.

We are huge zoo and animal fans, but this zoo has been a HUGE disappointment! We bought a membership and purposely chose the gold to get parking included. If we weren't going to be able to park there, we wouldn't go. If you've ever been to the area, you know there's little street parking near the zoo anyway. We've been to use our membership 3 times and had trouble parking in the zoo lots 3 times. Today we ended up driving home after multiple trips between the zoos lots. They won't let you into the lot to "wait" for a spot and you can't wait on the street. What good is a membership if you can't park and go in?! I know the zoo rents out thier parking lot to surrounding businesses and it's just not right. They are "selling" parking to surrounding businesses and leaving the paying members who also paid for those spots with nowhere to park so we can't even go in. So disappointing. It seems we might as well not even have a zoo!

Just took 4 kids to the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday. Went on $1 day so was very busy. Overall zoo is clean, and has tons to see. I don't know why but they made the zoo very hard to maneuver and easy to get lost. You think you are going the right way and end up at a dead end. We saw a good number of animals actually outside but not all awake. Some looked very sad. The giraffe exhibit is always nice but be ready to pay $1 per cracker and a 2 second interaction. Zoo staff were always friendly and there if you need them. The wings of paradise show was nice. The guy did a preshow that was hilarious. The bad thing is the zoo is located in a horrible area and driving can be terrible. Parking was horrible only because the zoo was packed. I know the zoo can't help it's surroundings since it has been there for decades but wish the city of Cincinnati would change that. Overall fun experience but truthfully prefer the Columbus Zoo.

Parking was ok the zoo was busy but my biggest complaint is the customer service. The workers were more concerned with seeing who was walking around outside there store than waiting on customers. The Edys Ice Cream store was beyond belief. Many times felt unsafe with large groups of young people acting like predators inside and outside the park.
