The Cincinnati Zoo is one of the best in our nation, The festival of lights is a wonderful display of christmas lights and a great to place to take christmas visitors. Many different endangered animals and a polar bear area that is so close up you can stand in front of the glass while they are swimming right behind you.

Cincinnati has one of the better urban zoos in America year-round, but the Christmas light show is remarkable. The lights on the extensive botanical exhibits provide a magical atmosphere: European-style cones of sugary roasted nuts just puts it into the can't-miss category.

The Cincinnati Zoo is consistently ranked as one of the best zoos in the nation. Not only is the zoo known for its exhibition of animals but it is also an outstanding botanical garden. A trip to this zoo is one of the outstanding opportunities of a trip to Cincinnati and outranks all other attractions.

The Cincinnati zoo and botanical garden is one of Cincinnati's treasures. On hot, summer days I suggest you get there early to avoid the crowds, and the animals are more active in the cooler weather. The winter festival of lights is also interesting. It is less about the animals and more about the lights but it is still fun. One of the most popular exhibits is viewing the Bengal tigers. Visiting the zoo in the spring when all the tulips have blossomed is beautiful. The zoo is not cheap although you can save money by parking on the street and getting coupons for a few dollars off each ticket.
