Owner description: This second oldest zoo in the U.S., considered one of the best in the country, is most renowned for its endangered species and birthing programs, particularly for gorillas and white tigers, and has a wonderful collection of felines and a delightful manatees exhibit.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Cincinnati Zoo. Being originally from New York and having been to the Bronx Zoo many times, I was pleasantly surprised! The exhibits were wonderful and the zoo was bigger than I had expected. The stass was top-notched!!

With 2 seniors, l other adult, and girl 6, and boy l4 we drove 175 south to Cincinnati Zoo for Saturday, The weather was perfect but the parking lot was a mess to deal with and at $8 was a terrible price. The lay out of the zoo had you walking up hill and down hill and re-crossing the same paths more than once jjust to get around and see everything. The signs showing the way to things was almost worthless and the over-rated 4-D show was fun for little kids only as I see it. There were some neat animals such as Gorilla, elephants, and the lion, but overall thought this zoo was way over-rated for the price they were charging and what they really offered.

This place has more green areas than most zoos I've been too due to having the botanical gardens combined. Some of the animal habitats are in need of updating and expansion. Some seem like jail for the animals. I understand renovations cost lots of money. The "newer" areas are really nice. It's worth the visit if you're in Cincy

Prices for parking, zoo and food too high. You must enjoy walking to see nothing, exhibits are dirty and smelly. The Omni max show was great however was an additional $5.

This is one of the best maintained zoos that we have visited, The abundance of flowers alone in worth the trip. The animals are displayed in as natural a setting as is possible and it is an enjoyable place for everyone
