Owner description: This second oldest zoo in the U.S., considered one of the best in the country, is most renowned for its endangered species and birthing programs, particularly for gorillas and white tigers, and has a wonderful collection of felines and a delightful manatees exhibit.

The Cincinnati Zoo is such a wonderful place to visit any season. We go at least once a month and every time we go we see something different. The animals are always doing something cute and unusual and the gardens are beautiful. The Zoo is especially beautiful in the spring. The animals are more active and everything is in bloom. Early April is perfect for the thousands of tulips they have each year.

It is amazing what the Zoo has been able to do in such a small, land locked footprint.

Always new animals in great exhibits. this zoo does a lot of research too so they get a lot of animals you'll never see anywhere else.

We visit this zoo each year (often multiple times each year). The zoo is large and has many hills so make sure you have good walking shoes! I would bring a wagon or stroller for the kids too! There are many animals, birds and reptiles at this zoo! The Cheetah exhibit, manatees and giraffe are extra special to us. We also love the gorillas and other monkeys. Enjoy a train ride with the kids and definitely catch a show while you are there (the Cheetah show is amazing). The food costs are quite pricey so you might want to pack a lunch or snacks. The zoo is clean and well maintained. A great family outing!

It was simply amazing!!! The number of lights that were used was unbelivable. The light show on the lake was wonderful.
