Owner description: This second oldest zoo in the U.S., considered one of the best in the country, is most renowned for its endangered species and birthing programs, particularly for gorillas and white tigers, and has a wonderful collection of felines and a delightful manatees exhibit.

This zoo is purely amazing. We suggest getting a season pass so you have free parking as well as can come and go as you please. It is so large that it is hard to see all of it in one day (at least with little ones). Our favorite part is that the staff walk around with different "hands on" animals you can see an pet. The peacocks that "rule" the zoo are beautiful. If you can stand the smell, the cat house is awesome!

This is the best zoo I've been to. We live near Indy and will drive to Cincy just for the zoo! It's so hands on for kids and parents alike. You can always find a demonstration going on or feeding about to occur. The zoo is hilly, so be prepared for hiking. The bird feeding is by far our most favorite attraction there. The zoo is not in a very nice part of town, and it's kind of hidden. Pricing is VERY resonable.

We have visited the zoo for years and never get tired of it. It is well laid out and not too much to see in one day.

been here in the summer and during the christmas lights show.in the summer if you get to hot they do have water being spray on you in a very clever way..in the winter it was so cold out that we went into the butterfly area to get warm.all in all we loved the zoo.we would go back..cheaper than the aquarium.

I have been to this zoo many times and can't wait for the next. It is creatively laid out on the side of a hill. Give yourself lots of time to cover the entire park ... at least 4 hours... 6 to do it comfortably. I have been to at least 10 zoos and this zoo is second only to the San Diego zoo.
