Owner description: This second oldest zoo in the U.S., considered one of the best in the country, is most renowned for its endangered species and birthing programs, particularly for gorillas and white tigers, and has a wonderful collection of felines and a delightful manatees exhibit.

I have been to this zoo many times and can't wait for the next. It is creatively laid out on the side of a hill. Give yourself lots of time to cover the entire park ... at least 4 hours... 6 to do it comfortably. I have been to at least 10 zoos and this zoo is second only to the San Diego zoo.

We go all the time. Our kids always learn something new. The Cincy Zoo is always working to make things even better. It is one of our favorite places!

I liked the luminosity and colors of the lights at the Festival of Lights and the train rides around the zoo grounds. I also enjoyed seeing many of the zoo's animals, including ducks, polar bears, elephants, giraffes, sea lions, and insects. This event is very child friendly, as my five year old niece had a wonderful time during our visit.

Superb experience enjoying the Holiday Festival of Lights at the Cincy Zoo this year! We rode the train and enjoyed the entire experience. Animals made a showing and the Manatee tank was fun to take in. The CIncy Zoo and Gardens really hit it over the top this year with a superb light display throughout. It is still going on. Make the time this season to get there and enjoy this regional treasure.

some really excellent animal enclosures, very few 'caged' animals. Nice walking around, beautiful botanical areas
