It is a cute museum with a little of everything. I enjoyed my time in there but there was nothing too impressive.

If you are looking for an outing with a small group this is a very manageable and well laid out museum.

I live in Cincinnati and visit the Art Museum every month or so to just wander among the masterpieces. The collection in Cincinnati is amazing- top works from many artists (check the website) and it never feels crowded. A bit of peace and beauty very close to downtown. (free too)

Some of the world's best art in a classic setting. Many top impressionists, great American and European sculpture. The world best Cincinnati Artist creations.

I walked through the whole museum and liked it enough that I'd like to visit again! My favorite exhibits were the ancient arts and artifacts on the first floor, although the Rookwood pottery collection and sections on local artists are interesting as well, and provide a great overview of the city's history.

The day I visited, there was a live music recital in the atrium area, and added a lot to the experience because I could hear it throughout the building. I visited during winter but would love to go back on a warm day and see Eden Park as well.

A couple of suggestions: give yourself plenty of time, probably a whole afternoon, if you want to see everything. I also wouldn't recommend it for small children.
