If you want to go out for a great meal in a nice atmosphere without breaking the ban, then Eddie Merlot is the place to go. Weekday they have a great bar menu and happy hour. Huge bar with lots of tables also. Or you can go to the main dining room and eat there. Either way, the service will not disappoint. Great steaks and seafood. The medallions of beef is great for sharing and sample different meats.

We've dined at Eddie Merlot's in Columbus several times, but today we ate here for the first time. It was fabulous. Out of all our group, we had filets, pork chop, eddie's potatoes, mashed potatoes, onions and jalapenos, mushrooms, bread and then to top of a great meal, we had bananas foster that they prepare table side. It is a little pricey though. We enjoyed everything, food and atmosphere.

I have had dinner at this location at least 4 times this year and walk away saying it is a nice location, nice atmosphere, great service .. but the food is just not that good. I have had the steak, fish, sepcial, appetizer, desrt, salad. To be truthful it is just OK. I think the prices re high for the food quality. Sorry, but go somewhere else and spend the $200.00.

We were at Eddie Merlot's this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. Although the restaurant was crowded, the servers provided us with excellent service and attention. The food was absolutely great. The lobster bisque ( a special for the evening) was one of the best I've had, and served hot, which I like. Just a word to the wise, they serve a lot of food, and so you may want to consider sharing at least one dish. The stuffed shrimp are wonderful.

To top off the evening, they brought me a red velvet cupcake. So cute and delicious. We really enjoy this restaurant and have yet to be disappointed in the food, preparation or service.

Disappointed for everything was very overpriced; when mentioned it was our anniversary we were shrugged off and placed at a horrible table. Service was just okay.
