“Mixed Feelings”
Reviewed July 20, 2011

This review is two-fold:
1 - We really enjoyed the Reininger label wines. A couple were very interesting to taste (the Carmenere is super white peppery and the Chardonnay tastes just like toasted oats) and a couple I could have finished an entire bottle. Or two. The atmosphere is beautiful - gorgeous building in a very scenic location.
2 - The tasting room staff were not very knowledgable about the wine, or at least were not interested in sharing if they were. When we asked about a certain wine, they would say something like "oh, that's really good." We just expected a little more from someone who said they had been working there for a couple years. Could of been an off day, but it turned us off a bit.
