Loved the old farming exhibits and photos. The mules pulling the wheat combine exhibit was particularly interesting.

Loved this museum. Didn't go outside, but just to the free parts inside. Learned a lot and would recommend.

“Great place to learn about Walla Walla”
Reviewed July 10, 2012

Parent helper for my daughters school field trip to Ft. Walla Walla and the Whitman Mission. They do a great job of showing you the history of the area with some great displays and excellent volanteer guides. Our only problem was our limited time. The school buses had to be back to the Tri-Cities for the afternoon routes, so we were cutoff from getting to see everything. I would suggest to leave yourself at least half a day to check it all out.

“Great overview of the history of Walla Walla”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

I was very curious about the history of Walla Walla and found some great info at the Fort. There were indoor exhibits that were air conditioned, as well as an outdoor area featuring some early establishments built in the area. A nice distraction if you're with kids (there was a great playground) and the grounds also offered some gorgeous areas for a picnic.
