We had a late lunch, an order of fresh rolls and vegtable with Tofu Pho, the idea was to have just a snack as it was late. We were really disapointed. The bowl of soup was not hot, just warm. The soup didn't even fill the bowl! The price of the soup and (mini) rolls were way more than I have ever paid in Seattle. We eat Pho several times a week in Seattle at many different places and belive that we know what it should be like. Usually get beef or chicken in seattle so maybe...vegie is just a bad choice.
But it should be HOT!
Saffron the sister restaurant next door was great last night, so we were really dissapointed by the quality.

Dear Sally,
Thank you for taking the time to write your review and thank you for your kind words about Saffron, our sister restaurant. You are absolutely correct, pho is available in every corner in the bigger cities and especially in Seattle. We apologize that your broth wasn't boiling hot as it should have been. If we ever get the chance to serve you again, please let us know, we'd be happy to fix it for you. Looking at the date of your review, we were experience a staffing changes and training when you visited, that may explain why your broth wasn't as it should have been.
You are also correct that we are not like other pho restaurants in "bigger" cities. Our veggie broth is a true vegetable broth, not chicken bouillon like many others who claim that it is indeed "vegetarian". We do not use any MSG both in our restaurant and our broth (which is made from 100% beef bones). We use all natural, organic chickens and you'll find no "mystery"meat or meatballs at our shop. Nothing comes out of a jar, a microwave or can and is served to you...
We thank you for trying us out, we hope that you'll continue to support the many small-independently owned restaurants that Walla Walla is so blessed with!

This is the companion restaurant to the much more upscale Saffron, which is located next door. This is a great place to get good Vietnamese street food. Everyone at our table had the Pho and it was very good. I live in Seattle where we have the tremendous Pho Cycle and it wasn't quite as good but that is a high standard and this is Walla Walla. I would definitely go back. This is really a place to take a magazine or book and just relax and suck down noodles.

Ended up at Pho Sho for lunch the day after we had dinner next door at Saffron. The owner remembered us - she was so friendly! We had great noodles and great service!

This is Pho and some appetizers and little else. I do not say this as a bad thing it is good.

They choose a few things they are going to do and they do them really well. All can be had to go if that is your choice. Closed Sunday and Monday

Great service, food, and prices! They use NO MSG and fresh ingredients in their pho! I'm vegetarian and love the options there! My husband loves their meaty goodness options. A great place to go without breaking the bank!
