Family run with a long history in Walla Walla, this restaurant has great, authentic Mexican food. It's interior is a little sketchy, but look past it, sit down, and enjoy. The only down side (and the reason we don't eat here more often) is because they don't serve alcohol.

The menu is your basic "Beans, rice, and ______", but the execution is above average, from the freshly made pico de gallo served with the chips to the refried beans that have some taste. One negative is no beer or wine.

The outside does not look like much, but this family-run Mexican restaurant near the Fairgrounds on 9th Ave has been serving outstanding authentic Mexican food since the 1960s. It is amazing to find Mexican food this good in Washington state; it is so tasty and authentic, you believe that you are actually eating somewhere in New Mexico.

The food was average and the service, while friendly was incredibly slow, especially when waiting for our bill. After all the hoopla I heard I was supprised and disappointed this was the outcome.

Very clean restaurant with cheerfully colored walls and dishes. Attractively displayed Homemade Mexican food NOT swimming in heavy cheese . The sign outside is not lit at night and easy to miss this unassuming little restaurant. Friendly and casual. We were there in the evening, probably it is more of a lunch place.
