A grand old hotel brought back to life. I really recommend the wine weekends. Nich staff-friendly.

We just spent two wonderful days at the Marcus Whitman hotel. The preservation of the historic building was breathtaking. The ambiance is striking from the front lobby area to the comfortable, spacious and immaculate rooms.
We found the staff to be pleasant, friendly and helpful.
The complimentary buffet was more than enough though we found it best to get there early for a complete selection. The chef and his staff served delicious meals, which featured Northwest products as well as a wide variety of local wines.
We thought perhaps the lounge could open a little earlier than 5 p.m. However, I'm sure the management knows the habits of its clients.
It won't be long before the Whitman will no longer be the best kept secret in the valley. Walla Walla can be proud of their landmark. Thank you to all those who made this a remarkable visit.
