The Days Inn International Falls seems to be an older hotel that has been upgraded a bit - we thought the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was small but with a nice shower head. The hotel was very quiet even though we stayed a Friday and Saturday night. It is located just before the outskirts of town, so not that convenient to the downtown, but it is a small town, after all. It is located right next door to a very good restaurant, The Chocolate Moose, which is a plus.
The desk person was friendly enough, but the housekeeping staff were not friendly at all. We received only stares in the hallway rather than "hello" or "good morning".
Hotel coffee is not very good at the best of times, but the coffee available in the breakfast room was probably the worst coffee I have ever tasted. The breakfast was disappointing, too. There was make your own waffles, a couple of danish, toast and cereal, terrible coffee and watery juice. I would have preferred a continental style breakfast with just muffins and bagels and decent coffee. The coffee had run out on Sunday morning and no staff was around to make it, and on Saturday morning the food had run out even though the breakfast was supposed to be available for another hour. It was not replenished.
Despite all that, if you don't care about a free breakfast, the hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet and reasonably priced!
