We had a wonderful dinner here, the service was excellent, and our meal was very good. Try this place, it's an excellent choice in Vicksburg, and the family running it is very hospitable .

We went to the restaurant for dinner, following the positive reviews of the previous visitors and our experience matched our expectations. First, we were positively surprised by the beauty of the estate. Romantic, extremely well maintained and very tastefully decorated. The welcome was warm, we arrived without reservation, and were swiftly seated at one of the tables (fresh and clean white linen tablecloth and napkins). When we were making our choices from the menu, the Chef himself came to our table welcoming us and bringing extra suggestions of the day. Everything was excellent, rich tasting and prepared with love and respect for quality! The winelist had good choice of quality wines as well (try the merlot from the Washington area). We were enchanted and happy. Thank you Chef!

Wow- from the location (a beautiful old mansion) to the food and service, we had a great time and enjoyed one of the best meals we've ever had.

We had dinner here on a trip through Vicksburg. They have a lovely menu. However they were out of 3 of the things I wanted! (an appetizer, the soup and vanilla ice cream! The dessert was good without it-but I had planned dessert when I ordered my meal. Wish we had been told what they were out of before waiter came to take our order!
It was a good dining experience overall-eating in an old southern home. Downside-our
waiter was a little surly-almost a [--].

We stayed here for one night on a trip to get a taste of the Old South and we were not disappointed! The drive through Vicksburg to get here was fabulous-a trip back in time!

The accommodations were typical B&B. Very clean. Updated bathroom, cable tv, fridge and coffee center.

The breakfast was very nice as was coffee in the library!! The woman runnung the breakfadt room was very nice. Worth the stop if you are going through Vicksburg!
