The murals represent history While it was being made. A great walk with benches and markers to explain each mural.

If you are around Vicksburg you should take the time to go see the murals. Some of the paintings look like photographs. Incredible detail in the paintings.

Some repairs going on, looks like some flooding had occurred. Overall it was a calm, enjoyable walk.

The various painted panels highlight the various memorable events that have shaped this town. The art work is quite good and each mural has a plaque that explains the significance of the art work. This is an outside display and it requires walking but wheelchairs and walkers can be used. You can see the murals from a passing vehicle but you can’t read the plaques from the road.

You can take this attraction in, within a comfortable hour. Parking is easy, and the walk, too. The murals are really excellent. Every city should do this. Very informative on what the city is all about, with good descriptions of each mural. They are roughly 8 by 15 feet, and in really good condition.
