The exhibits in the Museum are very interesting. The staff was great - told us the history of the River's turn from Vicksburg and also history of the Tug Boat on display. The boat is really fun to tour on your own. Kids would love the boat.

Great museum and you can actually go inside this huge river boat. The museum had interactive displays, the only problem I had was that they could put a few more chairs around as the short movies were a little too long to stand if you have any back problems.

Interesting museum for adults and children. Gives a history and present day efforts by the Corps of Engineers to control the Mississippi River. Good historical photographs, dioramas, and artifacts. Hands on exhibits dealing with all aspects of Vicksburg and the Lower Mississipppi River life. Large walking model of the river, and a Corps boat open for touring. Be sure to catch the terrific murals on the seawall just below the Museum.

Was very educational. Displays give a very good history of the Mississippi River. Boat on display gave a very good depiction of life on the Mississippi.

Enjoyed this newish museum on the Mississippi River -- a tribute to modern engineering. It is small but features lots of interactive exhibits. We allowed 2 hours and made it out in 90 minutes, including touring the adjacent riverboat.
