An early supper in Monsour at the Biscuit Factory let us have a table overlooking the murals of the civil war and the museum (also worth visiting). Nanci was our waitress and a great conversationalist. We knew we'd reached the Deep South with a menu of green fried tomatoes, deep fried mozzarella logs, spicy blackened catfish. Can't recommend the Sauvignon Blanc!

Yes, the food was a little overpriced but I still enjoyed the steak and fried shrimp. Service was good.

We went for late lunch. It was 2 o clock so they were out of special for the day. I ordered muffalotta and my husband order grilled shrimp salad. Waitress said "great choices". Only to find out they were also out of muffalotta! So I ordered po boy shrimp sandwich. It was good. And hubby's salad was like any other salad. We had fried green tomatoes for appetizer. Good sauce but tomatoes were thick cut and just "okay". All batter tasted the same and all food needed salt. Now.. I will say, hubby's Bloody Mary was one of the best we have had! And my glass of wine was huge! Overall, the view was nice but food was just okay.

Most delicious food ever eaten at a restaurant! Quanity and quality superb. Hostess sat us immediately. Our waitress was a little slow getting to us but was great once she was wonderful. Price was reasonable. Nice view, pleasant surroundings.

We happened to drive by and decided to check it out! LOVED the atmosphere, and the view from the upstairs dinning area was amazing!! Charlotte our server, was sweet and took great care of us! We ordered the gumbo, great! Also blackened catfish was very tasty and cooked perfectly, and also had crawfish over angel hair pasta. We thought everything was fabulous! We felt so welcome there. Charlotte suggested we stay for trivia night (every Thurs night) and everyone was so nice we decided to stay. What a blast! What a great way for 2 Californians to spend Halloween! Thanks everyone! If we are ever here again we will be back!!!!
