We stayed here one night on our trip. Nice large room. Both it and the bathroom were nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Nice staff and great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

I read the reviews & considered the price -- decided it was worth the "risk." While overall the place seems a bit worn, the current management is clearly working to keep everything clean & guest-friendly. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, the tv was sharp & the shower was great. There is nothing plush here but for $50, we felt we had gotten a deal.

Stayed at the Econo Lodge for a night while driving through Mississippi. The room was large compared to other motels I've stayed at and was spotless.

Breakfast was also better than other motels with a large seating area at which to enjoy waffles, cereal, fruit, coffee, pastries, toast and more.

Situated far enough from the road that there was no noise during the night. Free wi-fi and internet access on the computer at reception.

This hotel only is a two-star and I wonder why? The room was the largest we were in on this trip (5 hotels in 5 days); it was extremely clean and the bed was very comfy; the room was quiet; what was there NOT to like? The price was half the cost of the room we rented in Memphis the night before, and about the same price as the room we rented in Bowling Green, Kentucky the next night--however the pricier room in Memphis looked a bit worn and the sheets, though clean, were very wrinkly. Our hotel in Bowling Green was ok,, but, compared to this facility, definitely not up to par. The breakfast here was very lovely for a free breakfast. It included hot waffles and even hot blueberry waffles. Unlike some places, the breakfast area was not crowded and the food was refilled consistently. We were there on a week day, however, so weekend days might be more hectic.
We did not try the pool, which was small, but looked suitable-especially for a family with kids. Speaking of kids, this would be an ideal location for a family with kids, because the "sitting area" was separated from the sleeping area by a partial wall--so you could put the little ones to bed and still watch TV or read. There was plenty of room to move about and plenty of space to put the suitcases, too.
The employees were super pleasant, the facility was sparkly clean, the price was very reasonable, and it is very close to the Battlefield. You MUST go to the Battlefield when you are here, go to Walnut Hills restaurant for lunch, and drive at least a bit of the Natchez Trace.
When we come back, we will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We were right across from the elevator and ice machine and were concerned about the noise--don't be. Our room was quiet and I am a light sleeper. I imagine all rooms are good ones.

Loved this hotel as it is modern, clean and smells great. Our room was huge and comfortable with a comfortable bed, great work area, nice separate sitting area, little sink and coffee area and large counter surface in the bathroom. breakfast was the usual, but again lovely clean breakfast area and there were bananas which is something not featured in most breakfast areas.
Very convenient area as is close to the outlet mall if shopping is something you enjoy. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also very reasonably priced.
