Tommy, daughter Mallory, and a helpful, hard-working crew have turned a roadside produce shack into a dining destination. You cannot go wrong with avocado BLT, salmon salad or poboy, or tomato pie. All fresh veggies are excellent and all sandwiches are served on homemade breads of multiple varieties. Smoothies, freshly squeezed lemonade, and perfectly brewed iced tea. Sit inside or outside under the shed; music is usually Putamayo, everything from New Orleans jazz to Mississippi blues to Parisian cafe. Take home some fresh tomatoes or fruit and/or good selection of fresh frozen peas and beans. Do not go expecting A/C or fast food (depending on size of crowd, can actually be pretty slow) or pinot grigio; do go expecting good freshly prepared, often imaginative, food in a unique roadside setting along historic Highway 61.
