I recently stayed at the McNuttHouse for a long weekend while I was on a motorcycle trip. I stayed in the Governor's Suite. It was spacious and clean and very reasonably priced. I liked the location right on the edge of the Historic District of Vicksburg. It's also an easy drive to the National Battlefield Park. The gardens were beautiful and there were plenty of places to sit outside on the deck and have a beer. Since I was there to visit the battlefield it was a bonus staying in a house that I knew was there duing the battle.
Also, the owners were very accommodating when my wife arranged to have the refridgerator stocked with some of my favorite items.
I would definately stay there again.
