“Huge Park - A Must See”
Reviewed April 12, 2012

The park is huge and there is plenty to to and see. A fantastic place for hiking whether you like to walk along a paved path or climb a hill by following a natural trail. Don't miss General Washington's headquarters and any of the other buildings. It will give you a great insight to what it was like in the 1700s.

“Beautiful National treasure”
Reviewed April 7, 2012

Minutes off the Pa Turnpike with commercial and suburban crawl threatening it constantly the National Park Service has done an outstanding job of preserving this piece of history. The visitors center is the place to start, get amap and make your plans. The park is a favor for runners, walkers, bikes as well as drove through. The grounds are well maintained with enough "wild" to give an idea of what is was like. A nice balance of history, nature and public access. The park has strong ties not to just revolutionary war but you will find a lot of WWI and scouting history up by the Chapel.

“Great way to spend a couple of hours”
Reviewed April 1, 2012

Was close to our hotel so we drove over, wife and I both enjoyed highly and it's free, although i would recommend even if you had to pay. Allow at least 2 hours to see the film and walk around to see the various stops.

“A Wonderful Experience”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

The volunteers at the gift shop were very helpful in providing maps and information at the visitor center/gift shop. I was able to take a self guided tour and they have a phone system set up similar to a museum where you can dial the number and push the number of the point of interest to get extensive information about the monument, house, etc. in front of you. Very well thought out. I enjoyed my time there.
