The Washington Memorial Chapel is a beautiful building with some excellent stained glass but has an active congregation so while visitors are welcome to look around one should be careful not to interrupt any services. Besides great the architecture and stained glass, they have their own version of a “liberty bell’, nice grounds to walk about and a gift shop with a snack bar. It’s worth the time to stop and look around.

this is a lovely small chapel with great stained glass and a belltower with music on summer evenings. There is also a small gift shop. The cemetery behind the chapel and gift shop is interesting too.

Wonderful tour and explanation of the carvings, marble and huge pipe organ. Learned many new things.

The Wahington Memorial Chapel is an active Episcopal parish which is open to the public as an historic edifice. It was built as a tribute to George Wahington and the American Patriots of the Revolution. It can be combined with a visit to Valley Forge National Historic Park. It is small and exquisite in every detail. There is a Cabin Shop directly behind the Chapel where one can get a bite to eat and some very excellent baked goods and other mementos.

Lovely place, the stained glass is amazing and a little overwhelming at first, as their is so much to see within the glass artwork. Small fee to get in, but I am sure it goes to help preserve the place. Cute little gift shop. Little cabin shop in the back with more stuff to buy and food. Bottled water is $2...yikes!
