We had an awesome and respectful tour of Pearl Harbor with Cousin Maiah. He remembered all our names and gave us great information of Pear Harbor and other points of interest around Honolulu. Cousin Maiah was on time and picked us up at the meeting place since were were not at a hotel but stayed at an Airbnb. We booked our tour through Groupon and felt like we really got a deal for the day. This was our only tour that we took on this trip to Hawaii and we are glad we spent it with Maiah.
Mahalo Cousin, till we meet again,

The tour was just ok. The website promoted doughnuts, coffee and water on the way to Pearl Harbor. When we arrived at the venue the bus driver opened a box of doughnuts and we each grabbed one and gobbled it down in the parking lot, with a small bottle of water. There was no coffee. We were then given 3 hours to tour Pearl Harbor. ( Be warned, the Arizona memorial is currently closed). After the time at Pearl Harbor expired we were aimlessly driven around town to see a national cemetery that was a complete waste of time ( We didn’t leave the bus no graves of significance were pointed out) and a former king’s palace where we were encouraged to buy a hot dog from a street vendor. Could it have been a set up? Who knows? I would have been content to be taken straight back to the hotel. The back half of the trip was simply filler.

For all of you who have kids, I would stay away from this tour, especially if you get the tour guide “Cousin Shannon.” Super disappointed in it. I had called ahead of time to ask if strollers are allowed and was told yes. When we got picked up in the morning, the driver (“Cousin Shannon”) was very rude and told me there was “no good spot for the stroller” when I asked where we should put it. Then told my husband to sit in the front seat and hold the stroller the entire time and when I tried to sit on the opposite side of him to be close to my husband he told me I should go sit in the back so if my baby cries it didn’t interfere with his mic. I needed my husband’s help with my son but yet I was in the back alone while my poor husband was stuck holding a stroller. What a great vacation....and who was he to tell me where to sit on the bus with my son. I paid just as much as everyone else. Then as we continued to pick up more people, he said it was a full bus and there would be no seats available so eventually when the bus got full he asked my husband to move the stroller to the front beside the driver seat. But he neglected to ask people to switch with us so we can sit together so I had to. I was very upset as I called ahead and asked about the stroller and was not told there would be no room. I saw no reason for Shannon’s attitude from the get-go. I also did not understand why the bus didn’t have storage room for things like that. What if there were 2 infants on the bus with a full bus??? We went on the circle tour the day before with Uncle Tony and he was amazing!!! Super sweet and accommodating. It was a shock to see such a difference of the tour experience all because of the tour guide. I had a horrible time all because of his rudeness. It wasn’t just to us either. Overheard one person ask why we got to Pearl Habor so early and his exact words were “it’s not for nothing. Do you want to be here til 3:30p?” He needs to learn to be kinder to his customers or this company is not going to keep business with him on their staff.

We actually went July 2017. The tour was wonderful. Loved learning the history given by our tour guide. She got us to Pearl harbor early and we enjoyed it before the large crowds. I would do this again.
