Great little hotel but watch out

Faboulous service at this small out of the way hotel near Diamond Head. It's in a quiet location which means a short hike to downtown Waikiki . The rooms are quite modern and comfortable but this is my concern which affected us during our two night stay. The hotel has just been renovated which is great but what on earth possessed them to put in hardwood floors!!! This means every sound from the floor above is transmitted even amplified to the floor below. Now if you have quiet considerate people there is no problem but some people choose to moved the furniture and the siding doors at all hours which means you get woken up. The staff were great and had several helpful suggestions.

We are very near to announcing a much anticipated operator for our restaurant space that will change the culinary scene in Honolulu for years to come.

Freindly place to stay

The front desk staff were friendly and gave us some ideas for things to do. Small boutique place but our ocean view was worth the extra money. The coffee was OK but we found some better coffee down the street. I would recommend this to my family and friends.

Great experience overall

My family and I stay at the hotel aqua lotus for 10 nights and it was by far the best friendly staff I've ever encounter... Big appreciation to Dante the front desk guy for going the extra mile to help my kids with what they needed ... Thanks to all and see you again

Our second stay at The Lotus

Management has changed but the quality remains excellent. This is a small, boutique hotel at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki where it is pleasantly peaceful. It is a short walk away from the action if you so desire. Hotel guests are treated very well, coffee in the morning, wine at night, what could be better? Kaimana Beach is right outside, one of the safest, loveliest beaches in that area, popular with locals and tourists. The rooms have zen style, comfy beds and lots of room. I don't care for the rooms in the front, but that's a personal preference. Staff is very helpful. We will certainly return to the Lotus as we travel to Hawaii frequently.

Friendly and helpful

The front desk staff went out their way to help us sorting out problems, including an erroneous ticket from a parking garage. She also assigned a corner ocean view room to us without being asked. Definitely will stay here again or recommend this hotel to friends and families.

Room Tip: The location may be a little way out of the main business district but the view was great and the staff was always eager to help.
