I’m reviewing this with the understanding that this is a 3.5 star hotel. Here’s what I like about it:
-affordable price
-free breakfast (for Hyatt world members, just apply it’s easy, but when I went seems breakfast was still free for all) They do serve similar food everyday, but they offer gluten free options which was good because my hubby cannot eat gluten. Sausage, bacon or ham, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, miso soup, rice, done breads
-location: very close to the beach (ask front desk for towels and chair)
-reasonable resort fee ($15/day) compared to $30 at most other hotels
-$5 credit per room per day, which we used to buy water ($3 a bottle or fruits $1 each). We used it to buy Frappuccino at their cafe ($5ish)
-close to lots of shops and restaurants in the Waikiki area.
-rooms were clean, staff were helpful
-They only give you water on the first day if you are not a tiered hyatt member. It’s ok just buy it for $1 at the abc store next door.
-the ocean view is blocked by other buildings.
In conclusion I would come back!
I’ve stayed at the Aston next to it before, prefer Hyatt place. Stayed at the Modern, double resort free, but prefer this location better.
