We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette/living room space. It was fairly large but there was a lot of wasted space. The furniture sets were incomplete: In the master suite there is no closet, but there is a dresser. In the second bedroom there is a closet but no dresser. In the living room there is a couch that seats 3 and a small round dining table which can seat 4. No love seats or lounge chairs.

A lot of the outlets in the suite didn't work correctly. One side would work and the other wouldn't. In the second bedroom *all* the outlets were faulty. The safe was useless. It only worked when it wanted to and would beep and glitch out when you tried to use it.

The remote in the master suite wouldn't work and they initially gave us batteries but it still didn't work. After that they made no more attempts to resolve the situation despite our inquiring about it. A small thing, yes, but after the other stuff it was just one more thing to add to the list.

EVERY DAY the housekeeper came by, she would take all the towels regardless of whether they were on the floor or hanging up. We had four people staying in the suite and she would still only leave 2 sets of wash cloths and body/hand towels. After calling down for more towels the first two days she serviced the room we just started putting the Do Not Disturb sign up to keep her out (and keep our towels!).

The highlight was the super awesome AC units in each room (except for once when a roach fell out of one while it was off). So easy to control with the remotes!

Room Tip: This place only has 10 floors. Anything below 10 is noisy because the traffic (foot and vehicle) tra...

Hotel is clean and comfortable - not a resort type, but centrally located to everything in Waikiki. We have stayed four times during the past three years and will return again. The staff is great - always friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Even the basic rooms have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker...

Enjoyed my stay very much. Hotel staff very friendly and helped me out with a very early check in after a long flight from Australia. The hotel was convienient to the town centre and not to far from the beach. Unfortunately it appears none of the rooms have a view, but I did not find this a problem as I was out and about most of the day. Room was very clean and had a nice bed. Spacious bathroom and having a microwave and a decent size fridge in my room was an added bonus. Can't wait to return and this time I hope to have my family with me. Barbara.

This property was perfectly suited for us!! The rooms are very spacious, including a full size refrigerator, sink and stove, fully equipped with cooking neccessities! This was a huge bonus having groceries there on hand and not having to eat out for every meal. The staff was always very friendly and always smiling. Tracy was outstanding in helping to accomodate us with any and all of our needs! Compared to property options around, the value that you get for the price is exceptional here! We would highly recommend everyone to the Aqua Pearl during their stay in Waikiki!!

The staff at the Waikiki Pearl were all fantastic. Everyone bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable and to help us in any way. It is a nice, clean hotel. The hotel was a short scenic walk to the beach through the International Marketplace, short walk from great food, and close to night clubs. My wife and I will stay there on our next visit to Hawai'i

Long story short. Booked the room for a night on priceline for a night. Priceline messed it up. The girl working at the service desk Rachel. She went above an beyond to help. She gave us a better deal, better room. It was a fast process & painless process Once we realized we didn't have to go through priceline anymore. Thank you Rachel!
