Get away from the crowds and lines at the Arizona Memorial and slow down and cool down and take your time to see a completely restored Zero, Japan's secret weapon at the beginning of WWII. Hopefully you will have time to see some of the damage from the Dec. 7th attack. Ask you docent about the red and white tower siting in front of the museum. Also the gift shop is one of the best of the Pacific Historic Parks in terms of items only available for purchase there. The staff is most helpful and the docents excited about the history they will share with you. Most Pearl Harbor tours only stop at the Arizona Memorial, be sure to also see the Missouri and the Pacific Aviation Museum. In just one morning you can see more WWII history here then anywhere else in the world. Don't miss it.
