Love going here for the great deals on t-shirts and some souveneirs, but it can get really hot so try to go when it's cooler outside. Fee to park/enter is reasonable - $1 per adult. I would be a little more careful about buying food like fresh coconuts and cut-up fresh fruit though. The coconut water was a little tangy and the fruit I hesitated on so I ended up not eating it even though it looked really good at the time.

Open on weds and sat/sun. When I have visitors to the Island I take them to the Arizona Memorial/Bowfin in the morning and then just across the street to the Aloha Stadium swap meet in afternoon. They are thrilled with the Arizona Memorial and then take care of souvenir shopping in the afternoon at the swap meet.

I've been twice to the Flea market, first time in 2005 and last in March 2014. Little has changed. The flea market opens Wed , Saturdays and Sundays, and it costs only $1 to get in.

If you are planning to buy any sort of souvenier from Hawaii, this is the place. There are massive tents with towels, T-shirts, coffe, signs (which are really cool) , hawaiian coffe, knifes, candles and many other sort of things. They are way cheaper than buying the same things in Waikiki (some of them are 30%-50% cheaper), so it is worth the money if you are planning to spend at least $50 on something.

Try to get there in the morning or in the afternoon, because between 11am-1pm the sun is blazing everyone and there are almost no places to hide. Or you could use some sort of hat.

If you are not into the souvenirs thing or plan to spend just a little, it isn't worth it. Nothing pretty to see around the stadium, just highways. Stay at the beach instead.

The wooden signs I think are the best buy at the market. Really cool and creative. They have really nice landscape posters as well ! Enjoy.

If you are into flea markets and souvenirs then this is a great way to spend some holiday time. It has many of the items you can find at the shops on the Waikiki strip, but more selection and better prices.

We were hoping for a little more local vendor flair (like "made in Hawaii" by some local artists), lots of the merchandise is "made in China"--hence the really cheap prices I guess. Many of the merchants are bargainers, be prepared to have some of them hustle you into purchase. I found it kind of interesting and fun to spend an hour or so drinking out of a coconut, buying cheap souveniers and enjoying rest of what was left in our day after a visit to Pearl Harbor (which is right down the street). Adults are a couple bucks to get in (pay at parking), kids are free.
