“Very good”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

Had a wonderful surf and turf meal at Nico's . Only problem was I am not a fan of my shrimp being served with the heads still attached. There is something about my food looking at me that is unsettling . The cocktails Mai tais were excellent. Service was very good and $$$ for pricing. Family friendly. Can accommodate large groups. Atmosphere very pleasant but a bit warm. No air conditioning.

If you want a very good meal with FRESH fish that isn't going to break you this is the place to go! Food was very good and the prices were pretty good too. Worth the visit.

“Everything was amazing!”

Stumbled upon this restaurant, and so glad we did. Our family of six tried several appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend!!

“Best Meals of the Week!”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

We stopped in for breakfast & were pleasantly surprised by the swordfish omellette...YUMMY! It was so damn delish that we walked around the docks & fish auction warehouse just to kill an hour to go back and try the Opah from the lunch menu. It was better than Crouching Lion, Hailewai Joe's, Oceanarium or anything else on Waikiki!

“Triple D jinxed”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

I don't know what it is, but once a restaurant makes it on Triple D, it either stays good or, like Nico's, it turns to the dark side. Nico's used to be a small place with quality food at a good price. But once, Triple put it on the map, it's become just another restaurant. Don't get me wrong. The food was okay and the service was good. We were disappointed that it did not serve a big variety of fresh fish every though it's right on the pier. It's nothing special now. And you wait a long time for nothing special and pay double the price.
