The steaks are great--you have a choice in the amount of days aged. If you've never had aged steak before, go with the lesser time. There's a distinctive taste that may take a little getting used to. Portions were good as well, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service was good. The wine list is not stellar. The view of the water is lovely, especially as the sun goes down; however, in January, it was a little humid to enjoy balcony dining. Reservations are a very good idea. We enjoyed our evening and would choose d.k's for dinner again.

This is a great steakhouse located inside the Marriott. The steaks and service are outstanding. Check out this place on your next trip to Waikiki Beach, you will not be disappointed.

Two of us dined at this restaurant during a conference held at the Waikiki Marriott in Honolulu. Normally, one does not expect a truly fine restaurant to be within a mainstream hotel, but this is certainly the case for DK Steakhouse. The food was wonderful. The steaks are dry-aged beef from on the island, and they just melted in your mouth. The portion was so large that made a picnic lunch of little steak sandwiches the next day and it was great then too. Ask for a table with a view of the sunset, which is spectacular. The service was great.

This is our 2nd time here and it is fantastic - I loved the truffle Mac and cheese and any steak is beautiful especially with the blue cheese sauce - I loved the wine selection a bit too much

So I hear they have real dry-aged beef and it comes from some Kona ranch...not true! We went there 4 of us on SAT night and ordered app's/salads like the seared ahi, beef carpaccio/Caesars and wedge and all were terrible! Small portions and pedestrian to the point of Denny's style. The steaks we ordered was dry-aged 30 days and bone-in NY Strip plus filet and king crab...the meat is not prime (but they charge prime prices) and comes from the Imperial Valley...no name given for the ranch etc. All steaks look like butchered in house and maybe aged there because the cuts were sloppily trimmed...the bone part was not cleaned (Frenched). The age flavor was there but faint and crust was not cooked at 1800 degrees! This is just more BS as they stole the bacon dish from Lugers and it is awful. The filet was stringy and tasteless and crab legs were frozen, thawed and cooked poorly. The wine list in mesh-mash with markups completely out of norm...and worst, they get one star from the Wine Spectator in some year and actually put a Grand Award plaque in the entry to fool guests!!! That is simply dishonest and false advertising and unprofessional to a pint of disgust. The side dishes were all awful as well and we all skipped dessert of course. The server was nice so I have it two stars but I will not be back even if others are buying because this DK guy chef is dishonest! He is acting like a big fish is a little pond...but folks like us know better!
