“Very good shopping”
Reviewed January 4, 2012

After visiting various shopping malls on Oahu over a two week period this one was the most accommodating . The variety is excellent and the sales staff are helpful, not pushy like some of the other places. Some of it is built like a strip mall but covered in one area and the other is covered. Lots of shops with good quality items for everyone and clothing that meets the average budget price and made well. Good food at the restaurants and plenty of easy parking where you can find your vehicle easily. Make sure you visit the entire mall as it's big and in 3 areas so plan to spend several hours.

“D&B and Movie Theatre”
Reviewed September 12, 2008

This was the closest movie theatre to our hotel that was playing Tropic Thunder. We took a cab from our hotel located on Ala Moana and it was about a 10 min. cab ride. We had an hour until the 9pm movie and decided to go to D&B located next to the theatre to kill some time. The theatre was decent, not super new, had a slight smell of feet. Didn't get a chance to check out the other stores / restaurants at the Ward center though. Next time.

“a little treasure hunting experience”
Reviewed January 28, 2008

This is a really pleasant shopping area. It's kind of a bit walk since the shops are scattered around in the center. Without any shops in particular in mind, I just wander around and see if I could find anything interesting. The boutique and other craft shops are quite unique there. You can find something that you can't find in traditional mall such as Ala Moana, so enjoy the surprises. You can easier spend half day there without feeling too bored because all shops are pretty different from each other. And another plus, this place is so close to Ala Moana, you can start here in the morning, then, walk to Ala Moana for your afternoon shopping.

“Better than Ala Moana and Pearlridge”
Reviewed September 17, 2007

Ward Centre is not as well known or as large as Ala Moana or Pearlridge, but their shops and resturaunts are a lot better!

They have a lot of specialty shops that feature unique items. In Ala Moana and Pearlridge you have the same shops that you can find at any large mall in the country.

I loved the Racing Store, Hawaiian Quilt Store, Chef's Store, and T-shirt stores. It's not crowded like the other shopping centers, and it's just 5 minutes from Waikiki. The atmosphere is great, no rushing around, and across the street is the Farmers Market Store which is huge and has all kinds of local foods that you can pack up and take to your hotel if you have a kitchenette.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to eat at Ward Centre, but they had a variety of resturaunts with an marina ocean view.
