The House Without a Key is at The Halekulani. The outdoor seating area for cocktails fills fast. For a choice table, arrive by 5:00 P.M. What a place to watch the sun settle into the Pacific ! With traditional Hawaiian music and a former Miss Hawaii performing a graceful Hula you feel as if you've left the planet. And that's before the drinks. Order a libation, have your waiter add your name to the dinner list and stay awhile. Bartenders here know how to make a drink. Dining in the covered but open, lanai area, you can still enjoy the live entertainment and have a fabulous dinner. Upscale establishment calls for resort wear.

We just had drinks here. Best Mai Tai we had. Mojito was great as well. Live Hawaiian music and a great sunset view. Go early to get a seat. $30 for two drinks plus tip.

Had a few drinks here in the afternoon while waiting for our dining partners. The mai tais were very good as was the mojito. They provide crispy potato chips with their drinks. Rage, our waiter, was friendly, efficient and full of local information. The view can't be be beat for ocean views and Diamond Head. Plus we had Hawaiian music and a hula dancer!

We took a road tour of Oahu, returned the car after Sunset on Round Top, then walked here. We felt like 2nd class citizens just walking into the hotel - way above my pay grade - but they treated us just fine. Drinks & pupus; hula & music returned after a short break. So, we didn't see the sunset, but we enjoyed everything else. Very classy - they seated us close to the entertainment, and the service was exactly as i expected. Free chips to start with. IMHO, better experience than at Moana Surfrider.

This is a great location. We had dinner and watched the sunset. Come at 5:30 to get a good table and view of the sunset. Chef Vikram makes excellent dishes.
